Deliverers worked with Rhoda Davidson and Bettina Buchel two of the IMD’s leading industry experts to design and deliver a strategy programme aimed at 160 managers of Schering Plough. Together we identified seven crucial steps for executing projects efficiently and effectively. These are the steps that managers need to get to grips with if they are to reap the full benefits of their new initiatives:

• Set the course
• Play to Win
• Think it Through
• Get All Abroad
• Follow Through

We provided industry experts to facilitate a live training session and delegates were tasked with applying the seven steps of execution excellence to their individual action learning plans. Sample groups were then invited to present back to their peers on their individual findings of the seven step programme.
Following on from the success of the live training programme delegates have been asked to report on their progress during regularly scheduled progress reviews.
