beijing olympics destination guide

This project involved the creation of a destination guide for Budweiser competition winners heading to the Beijing Olympics.

We faced 3 key challenges:
• The booklet was aimed at a mixed demographic
• Two bilingual versions were needed – English and Mandarin
• There were 64 different bilingual itinerary variations

Our solution was a bespoke book which would appeal to all demographics, while also staying true to the brand. We created two front covers, so depending on which way the book was held you would be reading with English or Chinese. We also designed an inner sleeve to hold a personalised itinerary.

We had a tight deadline, due to the start date of the Olympics, and so were required to create an outstanding solution in a short space of time.

Working within brand guidelines we ensured that all designs were approved by the client before delivery.
