catalyst end of year staff conference 08
22/12/2008For the second time Deliverers facilitated the end of year staff conference. The Catalyst Housing Group wanted to deliver a new vision to their staff, and give them the inspiration to succeed in the coming year.
Working closely with the Catalyst leadership team we created a simple and effective way of delivering the core elements of the corporate vision. The message needed to both inspire, and get staff to think about ‘Why We Do What We Do’.
We produced a series of short strategic films, encompassing interviews with the leadership team, as well as footage of community projects, showing the importance of the work to the public. These films allowed Catalyst staff to fully appreciate the diversity and range of the group’s work, and the impact it has.
In order to provide reward and recognition we developed an Oscar ceremony. Winners were voted for by staff, and were presented with a bespoke trophy created by us. Finally, as it was Christmas, we produced crackers for every attendee, inside each cracker were a series of prizes, plus a plastic card articulating the new vision.
The event was tied together by a facilitator and we also secured the services of “The Black Farmer” Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, who was able to deliver a strong message to staff, as well as preside over the Oscar ceremony.
Our services also included branding the event, dressing the stage and creating a series of animated presentations to compliment speeches from senior management.
The whole event was a great success and left the Catalyst staff feeling enthused, motivated and ready to enjoy their Christmas dinner.
